Forget me?

I'm twenty years old now and soon the number will change whether I like it or not. What it is like to be in twenty? Honestly, twenty has just been another year I have messed up with. In fact, even worst. I did not improve in anything.

I suck in baking. I suck in cooking. I do not know how to sew. WORST OF ALL, I SUCK IN STUDY. I suck in making friends. I suck in maintaining friendship. I suck when I was about to lose a friend. There were times when I feel like being a nasty backstabber, stabbing people hard on their back and feeling good about it. Indeed.

I do not know if I will ever want to remember my life growing up as a twenty year old woman.

Finally

FINAL EXAM is over! So, done done and well done!

It's unbelievable how times flies so fast. Like seriously? The end of this semester mark the end of me as a 1st year student. Since final is quite tough and gap pun tak berapa mantap, rasa macam useless je struggle. Dapat je exam paper, macam what the frog? Which chapter is this? And the best part is when classmates said that they couldn't do it too, which means soalan tu memang susah bukan atas sebab diri sendiri. HAHA! *tak nak kalah*. But alhamdullilah everything went well, semua pun sihat during final.

PS: Ice skating esok :))

10th October 2010

Or you may want to read it this way, 10.10.10

Semua busy kahwin lah, tunang lah, dating lah, makan sampai buncit lah apa lah itu lah ini lah. How do I make it memorable on this date? Since 1000 tahun sekali je dapat date-date AWESOME macam ni.

Well, I have test tomorrow and supposedly to be studying but I unintentionally slept for almost half the day. In the evening, went to Gombak for my cousin's engagement. Malam baru pulun nak study. Okay, honestly sekarang belum start buka buku but I did say BARU right? Haha!

My 10.10.10 didn't go for GREAT or even good.

PS: Happy birthday to Pak Long ;))

Oh October

It is October now. Time is getting crucial. Tests, assignments, projects are pilling up. And as always, I am being a lazy fat ass. October reminds me that I have less than a month to pull off my study because end of October is saying for final.

I have been going through a lot. Let's not make it hard on me, please?

Me

I am Me.
In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me.
Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it
I own everything about me;
my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself
I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears
I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes

Ramadhan is back

When Ramadhan begins the gates of Paradise are opened. The gates of the Fire are closed and the Devils are chained.
Fasting is for me and I reward for it. Ones leaves his desire and food for My Sake
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Ramadhan is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating us, Muslims, refrain from eating, drinking and sexual activities from dawn until sunset. It intended to teach us about patience, humility and spirituality. It is also the time where we fast for the sake of Allah and to offer more prayer. During this holy month of Ramadhan, let us ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils and try to purify ourself through self-restraint and good deeds.

HAPPY RAMADHAN! ;))

Fortunately, lab start next week. Nasib baik. Ptg,pg class and pening-pening pasal new timetable. At last, dapat jugak timetable baru yang agak pack dan best jugak. Two off day in a week. Wednesday & Friday but Monday, Tuesday & Thursday class start from 8.30am untill 6.00pm backtoback. Hopefully this stay.

New Semester

Goodbye holidays. Welcome class, assignment, test & finals.

Bila cuti, nak pergi class. Bila dah start, malas pulak. Haha!
Okay, first day I didn't go to class instead I went to Sunway watching Karate Kid. Rasa bersalah jugak but it's not totally my fault. At first, dalam timetable kat ICRESS tu memang takde class on Monday but suddenly on Monday morning I double check the timetable, tiba-tiba ada class pulak. Saya pun dah pening-pening & dah promise nak keluar, so decided untuk tidak pergi class.HAHA! Malam tu, check timetable tukar lagi. Kalau tak, memang dah tido kat library dah. The best part was, we were given an assignment on our first meeting. Adoiy! Baru dalam proses nak cairkan otak yang beku kejap ni. Once the class ended, berebut-rebut pergi library cari buku.

Dan saya rasa sem ni agak menarik kerana dah ramai orang Penang yang saya kenal berada di Shah Alam. Terasa macam kat Penang balik dah. Can't wait untuk rakan-rakan batch saya untuk datang sini pulak. Mesti lagi meriah.

PS: To all part5 student in UITMPP cepat-cepatlah datang Shah Alam. I'm waiting.

Day 05- Your Favourite Quote

I love reading quotes and learning from them. In my opinions, reading quotes is a great way to learn life lessons. Quotes are short but contain a lot wisdom. They can give you useful lessons in concise manner. It doesn't take much time to read them, but what you read can change your life.

Here, I'd like to share with you the best quotes that I have found it interesting and meaningful. A good reminder for own self.

"Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too"

" Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; they become destiny."

There's a lot more interesting quotes. Just malas nak tulis.Haha.

hmmm..

hint : favourite ice-cream flavour.

ALHAMDULILLAH.

Day 04- Your Favourite Book

I used to be a bookworm before I went to MRSM. I can read lots of books per day. Tolak Makan. Tolak tengok TV. Tolak homeworks. Basically, I love to read. Dulu, before I went to bed, kene baca buku dulu. If not, I could not sleep. Insane right?
It's hard to keep my habit at MRSM. There's too much assignment, prep and such. But I do read. It just not as much as before. Plus the books are not REALLY interesting. When I was a kid, I was more into comics and now pun beli jugak. I read Ujang (zaman baru nak tanam minat baca) and all-time favourite comics were Archie's which are comics publish by Reader's Digest.

I improved my English by reading. I don't speak as good as I write. Ah, kalau menulis pun dah teruk macam ni, you can imagine how berterabur I speak. I started to read simple English books with lotsa illustrations and start collecting Enid Blyton books since I am in standard 1. And then, started collecting Jacqueline Wilson's books because the language are simpler. Move on to Harry Porter, Adelaine Yen Mah, Danielle Steel, Jodie Picoult etc.But I still flunk on SPM.HAHA.

Who say's I don't read Malay novels? Pencapaian terbaik pernah baca buku tebal Kamus Dewan Edisi ke-6. Paling terbaik punya novel melayu mestilah daripada Ahadiat Akashah. Masa ini zaman sekolah when my two cousins were into lovey dovey Malay novels and influenced me into reading it too. And my aunts pun suka collects novels from Karangkraf. Tell you what, I had never ever bought a Malay novel. Semua pinjam.HAHA.

My genre of books would definitely be a life story. The Lord Of The Rings memang saya tidak baca. Harap Maaf. If you would love to start reading English books, I strongly recommended you to start with Jean Ure's books because the language are simpler.

Chinese Cinderella, Nought & Crosses, Silent Honour, Jodi Picoult's collection, Kite Rider etc are some of the books I recommended you to put your hands on.

PS: Can't wait to buy more books since I have recycled half of my books collection to give up space to the new collections :D

Day 03- Your Favourite Television Programme

I don't remember when was the last time I watched television program whole-heartedly. I hardly stick in front of that black box and sit for hours watching them. I guess this behaviour started after I got into MRSM. I must say, when I was in there, I have no updates at all about the world news. There was only two television available in our MRSM. Poor right? And both television are to be shared with boys and girls. So, I passed. I'd rather spend my quality time in my room.

My favourite televison programme genres are Thriller/ Mystery, Detectives; Investigation; Criminal thingy. Err.. High School: Teenagers drama pun okay jugak. Okay, I watched everything. I am Universal right? HAHA.
But THE MOST favourite : Police Procedural (Genre fir NCIS according to Wiki)

Criminals Minds, CSI, The mentalist, Without A Trace, Bones etc.

Mengapakah NCIS sedangkan Las Vegas ada Danny McCoy? Sebab NCIS ada Gibbs. Las Vegas ada Ed Deline. Tapi Ed Deline tak hot macam Gibbs. To balance the old-hot-smart-charasmatic guys, Tony Dinozzo macam HOT jugaklah. HAHA.

Okay, sangat mengarut. Terima kasih.

Day 02- Your Favourite Movie

I may describe myself as movie freak. I go to the cinema quite often when I ended my school year. Bila ada movie baru je, cepat-cepat roger kawan-kawan ajak tengok wayang. So. let's see what is my favourite movie. Actually, there are LOADS of movies I like. Now, I don't know which to pick.

*Reminisce the past*

Why favourite movie? Not favourite MOVIESSSSS? Okay, it's really a tough pick. So, I have decided to pick Charlie & the Chocolate Factory as my favourite. Why? Because I love chocolate I guess. Haha. The factory was full of chocolate and it was way too cool. And the main actor was Johny Depp which I've always like his movies. I adore his acting as it look natural and cool.

The story begins with the life of a poor kid, Charlie Bucket, who also attempts to take part in the search of 5 Golden Tickets, a worldwide contest by the chocolate maker, Willy Wonka (Johny Depp), which would bring them a day-long tour of the factory and a lifetime supply of chocolate. The contest become worldwide mania. And Charlie was very lucky as he finds the final ticket after two failed attempts. The big day finally come. As the group moves from one room to room, the tour turn into a punishment for the bad children as one child after another falls victim to his or her particular vices and is removed. They leave the factory with permanent reminders of their misbehaviour as well as their lifetime supply of chocolate. Charlie is the only child who does not misbehave throughout the factory * sbb cam kisah dia jugak*. Seeing that he his the only one left, Wonka announces that he has won. He receives the entire factory and will take over the company after Wonka retires. The story became quite emotional was when the part Wonka flashback on the memory of his father.

I always imagine I'm the kid who had won the Golden Ticket and get the chance to be in the factory. Quite an imagination there.HAHA.

Okay, done crapping.

PS: Jom tengok Karate Kid :D

Day 01- Your Favourite Song

My all-time favourite song would be 'That's when I love you' by Aslyn. I know not many people had ever heard the song but I was stuck with the song since I was, ermm Form 5 I think.

And now, I am really into Maher Zain. I can even listen to him over and over again and never get bored :D
This is the first song I heard which made me stuck into him, Open Your Eyes.

This are also some of his music I suggest you to listen :

Whatever it is, he has a great voice. The melody is kinda haunting, like stick-in-your-hear-for-hours-haunting. I don't think this song has been released on our local radio yet, so be the first to listen in our country. HAHA.

PS: Bila Maher Zain ni nak datang Malaysia? Rasa macam nak duet je. HAHA.

Change URL

To my dearest friends and followers out there, as in the tittle, I am now changing my URL since I don't like it anymore. Haha! It's that acceptable? Okay, since farah_ulat had change her's, so do I. My new URL will be send to you shortly :D

Called the rest of the Malaysian and asked them to do the same too. So, we just lepak lepak at Starbuck *wink*. Next, we gather and depart to Central Market where we had our lunch and let the other participants from other countries to buy some souvenir to bring back home. After lunch, we walked to Kuala Lumpur Cultural Department. There, we were taught some of the Malaysian Traditional dance which we will then be performing during the Farewell Dinner later on. MIYP- DAY 3

Okayy, day 3 was FUN and quite an exhausted day. After breakfast, we departed to Homestay Banghuris Sungai Pelek, Sepang, Selangor. Banghuris is a combination of 3 villages. There, we tour around the village visiting the frozen food * the curry-puff were spectacular *, the coffee estate and the kerepek industries. We even went to the rubber estate and get to scrub the rubber off from the tree which need hard work indeed. During lunch, there were some performance by the villages, which I don't exactly know the name but it looks some sort like Ghazal-thingy. We also been given the chance to request any songs desired and of course the Indian contingents were so excited requesting their Hindustan songs which as far I am concerned, it were so popular even in the UK's. We sang along, we dance and we had so much fun there. After Friday prayer, we went to try out the traditional games such like gasing, congkak, batu seremban and etc. We also get to taste the mouth watering coconut drinks fresh from the tree. Just pick one, and suck it up *wink*. We even got to fish and luckily a couple of our participants got a fish. Next, we got change and ready to depart to Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) for the opening & welcoming ceremony by the Minister of the Foreign Affair and also the Declaration Statement by participants. After dinner, we prepared the booth for the exhibition the next day and rehearse for the cultural performance. At around 1.30 am, depart to hotel and straight to bed.
