Auni Farsha

Guess what? Auni datang rumah on Thursday and we lepak lepak the whole day. Macam-macam cerita and gossip keluar.Ouh,byk sungguh dosa kami kutip.Haish.
Friday,as we always did, kami telah melakukan satu lagi kerja yang sia-sia iaitu keluar tanpa arah tuju. Hehe. Around 10am,Auni dtg rumah and as what had been planned earlier, kami pun keluar. Even no specific venue and tentatives,we still decided to go for an outing disebabkan sudah lama kami tidak keluar bersama.Okay,so keluarlah kami pada lebih kurang pukul 11am.

Dida:Nk kemana?Jgn kata tak tahu and ikut laa serta sewaktu dengannya.
Auni:HAHAHA! Ingat nak cari tudung and selipar and bag.
Dida:KL lah sebab last time dah bawak pg Sunway kan?
Auni:Okay.You're the driver.

Kami pun sampai di Bukit Bintang around 12pm setelah pusing pusing cari parking and all. Masuk kat Times Square and ternampak Auntie's Anne. Stop jap isi perut yang x reti diam dan meronta-ronta bila nampak makanan. Then,pusing-pusing tak tahu nak buat apa. Pg Sungei Wang pulak, pusing pusing buang masa and pg pulak Low Yatt. Okay,at least tak sia-sia sgt. Auni bought a new handphone cover. Then, rasa mcm nak pg Jalan TAR pulak. Off we go. On the way to Jalan TAR, we saw a few tourists taking some memorable photo. Tiba-tiba I asked Auni:

Dida:Eyh,Auni pernah tak in your life ambik gambar kat Dataran Merdeka and Bangunan Abdul Samad?
Auni:Pernah kot. Time zaman kanak-kanak ribena dulu.
Dida:HAHA! Dida x pernah kot. Lalu je. Percaya x?
Auni:Yeke? HAHAHA!
Dida:Jom!Best kot.

Kami pun pusing lah cari parking dekat 2 kali. Unfortunately, xde parking. So,we gave up and terus ke Jalan TAR. Parking kat Sogo and we walked all along the stall di ketika matahari sangat terik. We decided to at least bawak balik 1 benda supaya tidak menonjol sgt kerja sia-sia kami ini.Tengok-tengok,pilih-pilih dan akhirnya kami telah berjaya membeli sehelai tudung * I bought 2*. Hehe.Setelah peluh menitik-nitik tanpa henti dan dapat at least satu barang, kami pun pergi mengisi perut yang sudah berkeroncong minta makanan.Habis makan,we went back. Ingat nak bawak Auni pg I-City kat Shah Alam but she had to go for dinner at her cousins'. Nevermind, saya dah pinjam dia the whole day.Although it's just a waste-of-time-day-out but I still had a GREAT fun.

Chinese New Year

*It's just something I've came across and would like to share about Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration.*

CNY is the time for family reunions, the lion dance, firecrackers, mahjong, mandarin oranges *which those who don't celebrate, would wait for it too* and giving/collecting ang pow. CNY has some of the most fascinating aspects of Chinese tradition and rituals. Its origin can be traced back thousands of years, to the legend which tells of a fearsome mythological creature known as 'Nian' that is said to have once terrorised China, devouring people on the eve of CNY. To ward off the beast, red-carpet couplets were pasted on doors, firecrackers were set throughout the night and huge fires were lit.

Today, the prevalence of the colour red and firecrackers, form part of the CNY celebrations throughout the world. What is believed to bring good fortune and ward off the evil is the lion which, according to legend, was the only animal that managed to wound the Nian. This gave rise to the lion dance, as the villagers of the story tried to mimic the lion in theirm attempt to frighten the beast away. In Malaysia, troupes of lion dancers travel in trucks during a 15-day period to perform at individual homes and businesses, even hotels and shopping complexes. It is a spectacular sight during this period, where performers regularly shimmy up poles to pick up ang pows, while moving to the beat the drums!

Long silence

HELLO!

Welcome back to my blog. Sorry for the long silence and keeping you waiting for too long. Cewah.

Anyways, I'm now keeping phase to adapt with the new campus surrounding.Just to inform, for those yang tak tahu, saya sekarang berada di Shah Alam furthering my studies here. It's not that I've graduated my diploma already and you may think I'm too genius to finished up everything in just a year and a half. Just that I got quite lucky to be selected and been offered in the programme where they call it 'Penerapan'. It's a programme where part 3 diploma students been offered to further their Bachelor straight away.

Okay, back to this adapting process, it's not that there's a huge difference between Penang and Shah Alam. It's just the environment itself. There are more ppl, more cars and it sometimes looks like a congested campus. The lectures and classes are much likely similar. The lecturers are not the same for sure *wink* and the ways the lecturers him/herself delivers the knowledge are also different compared to those in Penang. It might be because we are no longer a diploma students anymore *dida, get real please*. We diploma students usually were given those manual and lectures note *this is the parts where I miss my old days in Penang*. But not anymore, we are need to copy up everything in class, seek for more examples and explanations in those thick thick reference books.More hard work there huh?

Well, as we are the first batch and the pioneer to this programme, there are not much classes open for each course as there are also not so many students who accepted the offer. My class, which holds the most number of students, consist only those from Penang and Dungun. But the majority here goes to Penang. Weeehuu. Mereka semua pandai-pandai belaka and sometimes it makes me felt like I don't belong here. Hmmm.

My life now are soooo lame. I'm doing the same routines everyday. Wake up, lectures and back home. No more shopping, movies and those fun crazy stuff I used to do with Auni. Gosh, really miss her a lot :((

Mannn, time passes too fast. I haven't started my project proposal yet.Better stop now.

Bye ;)
